I'm Lisa, the owner of Camellia a beautiful family owned flower shop in Oakville, Ontario. Today I want to talk to you a little it about the meaning behind different blooms.

Did you know.........

Roses have many meanings including love, hope and new beginnings.  They also have different meanings based on their colours, let's look into this a little deeper:

Red- means love, romance, passion, and desire

Yellow- means strength and friendship

Black- means farewell or the end of a period, closure.

Blue- means mystery

Orange- passion

White- Innocence, purity, loyalty and new beginnings

Purple- love at first sight, enchantment and desire

Green- revival, hope, rebirth and fresh love
